Day
1
Meet and transport you from the airport to your hotel. In the
afternoon you will visit the Concha y Toro winery. The visit
begins in the square Plaza Don Melchor, where you will be welcomed
by a bilingual guide who will lead you to a panoramic view of
the Pirque vineyard. Accompanied by a glass of Casillero del
Diablo white wine, you can immerse yourself in the aromas and
flavors of this centennial setting.
Glass in hand, visitors can stroll through the mature parkland
and gardens that go well back in time and also take in the old
casona, the former residence of the Concha y Toro family. Here,
over a hundred years ago, what is now the biggest wine making
company in Chile was born.
At the vineyards you will not only get to know how the vines
develop, but also the care and technical handling that is necessary
to secure first-rate yields. On entering the cellars you will
be offered an excellent Casillero del Diablo Merlot, while you
are shown how Concha y Toro's wines are produced. In the surroundings
of the original facilities, face to face with the Casillero
del Diablo, you'll be given the chance to taste the wine that
made Chilean wine famous - Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon.
Visits end at the Wine Shop where a number of wines and souvenirs
are available. Concha y Toro lets you to keep the tasting glass
that accompanies you throughout your visit, as a moment so you
can enjoy our wines at home. Following the tour we will return
you to the hotel.
Day 2
We will arrive a 8:00 AM at the hotel and transport you to the
Valle Nevado Ski Area. A quick stop at SkiTotal for your ski
gear. All day ski at Valle Nevado followed by transportation
leaving the ski area at approximately 5:30 PM and arriving at
your hotel at approximately 7:15 PM.
Day
3
We will arrive a 8:00 AM at the hotel and transport you to the
Colorado Ski Area. As before, should you require equipment we
can provide this to you at the Ski Total Rental shop. All day
ski followed by transportation back to your hotel. Loading for
return at 5:30 PM with an approximate arrival at your hotel
at 7:15 PM.
Day 4
Only 90 minutes, and passing through the “Casablanca Valley”,
famous for it’s excellent wineries, you’ll find
the port of Valparaiso, designated “Cultural Heritage
Site of Humanity” by UNESCO, where you’ll be able
to admire it’s unique architecture and colorful hills.
You’ll visit the port and it’s traditional “elevators”
as well as Arturo Prat’s tomb, Chile’s Naval hero,
and you’ll enjoy the view from “Artillery Hill”.
The tour will continue through the Garden City of Viña
del Mar, where you’ll see it’s famous casino, Vergara
Pier, beaches and it’s main avenues, to continue to the
beach resort of Reñaca and the traditional fishing village
of Higuerillas where you’ll sample it’s excellent
gastronomy of traditional shellfish and fish dishes of the Chilean
coast.
After lunch, we’ll stop at a spectacular scenic overlook
on the ocean where you can appreciate the marine fauna, or go
for a walk on the beach of Reñaca.
Day
5
We will arrive a 7:00 AM at the hotel and transport you to the
Portillo Ski Area. All day ski at Portillo. Loading for return
at 5:30 PM with an approximate arrival at your hotel at 8:00
PM.
Day 6
We will arrive a 8:00 AM at the hotel and transport you to the
La Parva Ski Area. All day ski followed by transportation back
to your hotel. Loading for return at 5:30 PM with an approximate
arrival at your hotel at 7:15 PM.
Day 7
Free day. Optional visit to the Shopping Mall Alto Las Condes
or half day tour of downtown Santiago.
